Can Green Flag fix my car at the roadside?
There are no absolute guarantees, but the fact that 86% of Green Flag customers are fixed at roadside means that it is very likely that yours will be too.
If I break down, how long will it take for Green Flag to reach me?
Green Flag pride themselves on reaching you as quickly as possible. Their average response time is 30 minutes. However, if you're in a vulnerable position - for example you're broken down on the motorway or a woman on her own or with children - they offer a priority response so they should be with you faster.
Green Flag covers the car - what does that mean?
At Green Flag, it is the car that carries the cover, not the driver. This means that you can count on Green Flag to attend to a breakdown, no matter who is driving your vehicle. This is a great assurance for parents of young drivers.
Do I get rewarded if I don't call Green Flag out?
Yes. Green Flag's No Callout discount means that you save money off each year's breakdown cover. What's more, after four years without a call out, they'll protect your discount. That way you can still save money even if you do break down.
Will I get a refund if I cancel my breakdown cover?
As long as you've not called Green Flag out during your period of breakdown cover, they'll give you a partial refund. They base the amount of your refund on a daily rate minus a cancellation charge of 50% of the annual price of your cover. Unfortunately they can't provide a refund on the European element of our top level of cover, EuroPlus.
What assumptions do Green Flag make when purchasing a policy?
You agree to accept that the policy will be automatically renewed each year on the payment details you provided upon purchasing, unless you ask Green Flag to cancel it for you.
